Introduction: Built on Utah Values
The motto of the State of Utah consists of a single word: “Industry.” As a lifelong Utahn, I have always valued the hard work and determination that make this state such a great place to live. Growing up in a community built on fairness and personal responsibility, I learned that everyone deserves a level playing field, especially when facing difficult circumstances.
That belief ultimately led me to pursue a career in law. At Utah Injury Law Center, I am committed to protecting the rights of injured workers and helping them navigate the challenges that follow a workplace injury.
Commitment to Advocacy
My desire to advocate for those who are not treated fairly led me to earn both my Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University. During law school, I volunteered with the University’s Title IX Office and completed practicums with both state and federal judges.
Prior to joining Utah Injury Law Center, I practiced immigration law and served as a prosecuting attorney in criminal court. Those experiences taught me how to navigate complex legal issues, negotiate effectively, and advocate for people facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Navigating Complex Challenges
Workers’ compensation claims can be overwhelming for injured workers who are simply trying to recover and provide for their families. Insurance companies often have extensive resources, making it difficult for individuals to understand and protect their rights.
My role is to guide clients through that process, helping them understand their options and ensuring that their claims are taken seriously. I believe every case deserves personal attention because every case represents a person whose wellbeing matters.
Personal Passions and Interests
Outside of the office, I enjoy distance running, reading fantasy novels, and exploring Utah’s outdoors with my wife, our two children, and our energetic Portuguese Water Dog. Whether I am on a mountain trail or helping a client through a difficult situation, I strive to bring the same dedication, perseverance, and commitment to everything I do.
