Introduction
As a dedicated attorney at Utah Injury Law Center, I bring a personal connection and profound understanding to each case I handle. Born to a Cuban immigrant father who came to the United States with just $46, I was raised on stories of resilience and hard work. My father’s journey from cleaning movie theaters to working part-time nearly six decades later instilled in me a deep respect for those who labor tirelessly to provide for their families. This foundational experience drives my commitment to serving workers who have been unfairly sidelined by workplace injuries.
Background and Education
I pursued my passion for justice and advocacy by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, followed by a Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am equipped to bridge language barriers in legal settings, ensuring comprehensive representation for all clients.
Legal Philosophy
My approach to law is deeply influenced by my father’s work ethic and the injustices he faced as an immigrant laborer. I specialize in representing workers who have been injured on the job and find themselves battling against a system that often lets them down when they need it most. I fight tirelessly to ensure that my clients receive the medical attention and compensation they deserve, advocating for those whom the insurance companies have turned their backs on.
Achievements and Admissions
Admitted to the Utah Bar in 2014, I have spent nearly a decade defending the rights of injured workers. My advocacy extends beyond the courtroom; I am an active voice in the community, speaking out about the challenges and legal obstacles that injured workers face. My work is not just a profession but a continuation of my father’s legacy of perseverance and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.
